We had such a wonderful time. It is so beautiful that words can not describe. Eric our guide took such good care of my mom (who is 80). The food -fantastic. I would love to see this place again. I can not describe the spitual feeling I left with. Hearing of the family history. I just wish I had a pen with me to take some notes. :) Thank you for making us so comfortable

We had such a wonderful time doing this tour on 6/25/11. Due to rain, we weren\'t able to jump into the waterfall, but just viewing it was well worth it. Our delicate-looking horses were nimble, sure-footed, hard-working, and a little feisty, and some of us enjoyed some fast-paced riding at times. The breakfast and lunch were excellent, served at a wonderful break along the route. Our guide David was knowledgeable and eager to share the wonders of Costa Rica with us, and he was friendly and great company too. We saw monkeys and red dart frogs, among other things. I would do this ride every time I went to Costa Rica!

One of my best memories of my trip to Costa Rica this summer was the horse back riding tour to the Nauyaca Falls with the members of the Lulo family. The young men who guilded us were kind and helpful and fun! The breakfast and lunch at the stopping point was fabulous. The falls was a sight beyond belief. The whole experience was just wonderul!!!

Meeting some of Don Lulo's family members and spending time in their dining area next to their kitchen made me feel right at home. It brought back childhood memories. Memories I thought I had forgotten. Memories of me as a small child in a Caribbean island where I lived most of my life running free through the country, hearing the soothing sound of the wind caressing the high leaves on the trees. And, the birds singing and flying freely while the sounds of pots and pans hitting eachother in the kitchen reminded me that the women were preparing a delicious home cooked meal.
My visit to Don Lulo's grounds was not only memorable but a spiritual awakening. It felt good to feel the love and humble spirits that this family radiates and shares with others. My Blessings to this Beautiful Family.

Don Lulo and his family sheltered me and two strangers during Hurricane Cesar in 1996 (I think that was the year). I will never forget the kindness of that wonderful family and the amazing experience of waiting for the rains to stop, eating momanchinas (lychee fruit) and playing dominos. Ruth made amazing food every day and Don Lulo never stopped smiling. I never imagined I would go for a horseback ride and return 4 days later, but I am so happy this wonderful family was there to keep us safe. I hope to return soon and to see my Costa Rican amigos again.
